Zero-Log Intelligence (AI Layer)

The term “Zero-Log Intelligence” represents Log0’s defining feature: privacy defense powered by local AI that does not require data extraction.

5.1 What the AI Does

The on-device intelligence layer monitors network conditions, privacy risks, and adversarial signals. Its primary functions include:

  • Route selection based on privacy + reliability

  • Detection of traffic manipulation attempts

  • Identification of correlation risks in behavior patterns

  • Automatic privacy posture adjustment

This is not an AI that reads user content. It evaluates environmental signals: connectivity quality, known censorship patterns, abnormal route behavior, and probabilistic tracking risk.

5.2 Local Learning Without Data Harvesting

Log0 aims to enable on-device learning that improves over time without centralized collection. Models can be updated via privacy-preserving distribution mechanisms, but personal traffic data is not uploaded as part of normal operation.

5.3 Threat Model Awareness

Log0 treats threats as continuous and adaptive. The intelligence layer prioritizes:

  • Recognizing surveillance fingerprints

  • Avoiding repeated peer correlation

  • Preventing “pattern leakage” from stable timing

5.4 Privacy Posture Modes

Log0 may support multiple runtime profiles:

  • Balanced Mode: optimized for daily usability

  • Stealth Mode: prioritizes lowest detectability

  • Fortress Mode: maximum privacy resilience under hostile conditions

These modes adjust routing depth, timing variability, relay selection, and packet shaping.
